CASE STUDY 2 - Client Rohde Schwarz

Project Overview

The successful collaboration between DMB Engineering and Rohde Schwarz resulted in the seamless installation of a full Radio System at the NATS site at a UK Airport. Despite the challenges posed by working in an airport environment and tight timescales, DMB Engineering's dedicated team overcame these obstacles through meticulous planning and execution.

Key Achievements:

RF Feeder and Cable Installation:

The team executed precise RF feeder and cable running/pulling, ensuring a robust and reliable infrastructure for the radio system.

 

Combiners/Transmitter Racks and Telemetry Rack Installation:

DMB Engineering installed combiners, transmitter racks, and telemetry racks to optimize the radio system's performance and efficiency.

 

Feeder and Cable Containment Works:

The implementation of containment solutions for feeders and cables ensured organized and secure installations, minimizing the risk of damage and interference.

 

Commissioning Works:

Thorough commissioning works were conducted for combiner systems, interconnecting feeders, and rigid lines. This meticulous process guaranteed the functionality and effectiveness of the entire radio system.

Following the successful implementation of the radio system, the next steps may involve ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and potential upgrades to ensure the system continues to meet the operational needs of the NATS site at a UK Airport.
